designed specifically for non-Freightliner, Sterling or Western Star heavy-duty used

FAVOR Limited Warranty Overview
Based on your Warranty coverage selection, the FAVOR Limited Warranty for
non-Freightliner, Sterling or Western Star Trucks provides the following coverage*:
- 6 month / 50,000 miles
- 12 month / 100,000 miles
- Based on specified model year and mileage requirements
ENGINE:
- All internally lubricated parts
- Camshaft & bearings
- Connecting rods, caps & capscrews
- Crankshaft & bearings
- Cylinder block casting
- Cylinder heads
- Cylinder head gaskets
- Engine block
- Injector sleeves
- Oil pump
- Cylinder head casting & capscrews
- Pistons
- Piston rings & pins
- Progressive damage (on covered components)
- Rocker arms & shafts
- Spacer plate or block
- Timing cover & gears
- Valve lifters & push rods
- Valves, valve springs & valve keepers
TRANSMISSION:
Transmission (EXCLUDING Allison) housing, and all internal lubricated parts
(EXCLUDING gaskets, seals and mounted parts such as transmission pump,
oil cooler, and PTO Pump)
REAR AXLE:
Axle housing, axle shafts, differential housing, and all internal lubricated
parts (EXCLUDING gaskets, seals, rear axle alignment, and mounted parts such as
suspension mounting brackets, hubs, wheel bearings, and brake ends)
EXCLUSIONS:
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) service/maintenance items, adjustments,
seals, gaskets, synchronizers, failures due to abuse or lack of scheduled maintenance
as outlined in the applicable Maintenance Manual or OEM Manual, worn components or
failures due to wear-out. Progressive damage from non-warrantable failure, tightening
of fasteners, fittings, hose clamps, and electrical connectors, which are considered
to be normal maintenance.
Premium charges and work not directly related to the repair or replacement of a
warrantable part will not be covered under warranty. Some examples include: state/provincial
and local tax, road service/calls/towing, loss of revenue, customer and overtime labor,
downtime, driver expenses, cost of rental equipment, loss of perishable cargo, general
housekeeping supplies, communication charges, repair or replacement of optional items not
sold or installed by Daimler Trucks North America LLC.
