SelecTrucks of Chicago is a partnership between TransChicago Truck Group and Daimler Trucks Remarketing Corporation. TransChicago Truck Group has been a respected family-owned dealer in the Chicagoland market for close to 20 years and Daimler Trucks Remarketing is a subsidiary of Daimler Trucks North America, the largest producer of medium- and heavy-duty conventional and commercial trucks in the world.

In 2002, we introduced TransChicago Truck Group to the Chicagoland area after acquiring Freightliner of Chicago in Elmhurst, Illinois. We then opened our second Freightliner location in Shorewood, Illinois in 2011, and acquired Truck City of Gary in 2016. Today TransChicago Truck Group employs over 350 men and women at our three locations.

Our Elite Support Certified locations carry a vast inventory of new Freightliner and Western Star trucks and all makes used trucks. We also offer Isuzu trucks and Capacity yard spotters; and Transcraft and Benson aluminum, steel and combination trailers. We provide state-of-the-art service and an extensive mix of parts for any make vehicle.

TransChicago Truck Group has spearheaded several community outreach programs, most recently the donation of our retired Parts delivery vehicles to various charities. We offer apprenticeship programs with local high schools near our dealerships and we happily make frequent donations in our effort to give back to the communities where we are doing business every day.
